UPDATES

I have closed the latest gallery and its official - you all wanted the photo shoots, so the shoots were added to the gallery. Please keep in mind that I might add pictures of the soap stars from possible events as well in the future.

Moved around some soap stars who have swapped soaps. Those stars include Rick Hearst (now B&B), Wally Kurth (now DAYS), and Lynn Herring (now ATWT). Possible soap stars whose galleries might be swapped include John Driscoll (to Y&R) and Crystal Chappell (to DAYS).

UPDATES

The gallery was updated today with a couples of scans. Also moved the albums for a few soap stars since they're joining other soaps including Stephanie Gatschet and Forbes March. Enjoy.

UPDATES & NEW POLL

There's a new poll to answer for the site. I'm wondering if I should add primetime soaps to the gallery or just add back the pictures of actors from events or the photo shoots. I'm asking for you all's input on the matter. Here's where you can leave a vote in the poll.

Votes have been taken for the Most Beautiful poll. I will tally those up and add a special section to the site for you all to view the winners.

I also updated the gallery today with a slew of scans. Enjoy.

UPDATES

Oh, my goodness. Updates to the site are back. Added a bunch of scanned images to several of the soap albums. Enjoy them all.

ALL SCANS ADDED

Scans for all of the soaps have finally been added back to the gallery. Yay! I'm still debating on whether or not I should add back the pictures and captures. I'll have to think about that. Enjoy the scans.

GALLERY UPDATES

Added some scans back to the gallery today. Still trying to work on finishing the soaps' galleries. Soaps that have been completed include the following: Another World, Loving/The City, Passions, Port Charles, Sunset Beach, Real Life Weddings, Soap Weddings, As the World Turns, Young and the Restless, General Hospital, Guiding Light, One Life to Live, and Days of Our Lives.

The last two soaps left are Bold and the Beautiful and All My Children.

DIMMING THE LIGHT

Just saw this article online while looking at my email.

After 72 years, TV's `Guiding Light' switching off

The soap opera "Guiding Light" is switching off after a 72-year run that predates television.

CBS says the show will have its final episode in September. Like most daytime dramas, "Guiding Light" has suffered from declining ratings and CBS is looking for a lower-cost alternative to the hour of programming.

The Guinness Book of World Records has cited it as the longest-running television drama.

It began as a 15-minute serial on NBC Radio in January 1937 and debuted on CBS television in 1952, focusing on the Bauer family of Springfield.

Remember the days of Guiding Light by viewing its section at the gallery. The Guiding Light section has been fully restored.
